Title sequence first few seconds..

This is the first few seconds of the title. Still needs more work such as the bending pages. i will get round to this as soon as i can

new short clip using puppet tool

i took an image of Milla Jovovich holding a bath towel and basically created 2 seperate layers, and put some puppet pins in to do animation.

this is a pretty simple and fun technique, i will need to practice it some more, but you can have some pretty cool looking results.

So,

these are just little segments to include in the title sequence

Just to remind you

Start with a magazine with the Logo on the outside cover.
then as a girls hand opens the magazine, the NY flash starts,
with some pictures of NY falling on top. (The idea is that the girl is cutting out pieces from the magazine to make a collage)
then Jade
Then The Intro to the Ramonas (video attached) but, i need you to animate the photos dropping(photos i sent in a previous email).. kind of like the Iphoto screensaver style (but for the pics to be more like polaroids)

Then Dolly, Dolly in colour with all of the Bettie Page photos falling on top of her in black and white.

Then a big flash with some fame iconography...

then a larger version of the logo for the finish.

new updated directions

-The Puzzle piece idea i wont be going ahead with as were not going with the plastic surgery angel,
as its also too similar ot the other show.

-The 15 minutes of fame clock might not fly either, but i wont toss it out just yet, i will see if its workable or not.

are debbie harry, the ramones, bettie page and lady gaga

see if there are motifs to work in in an interesting way.

First Attempt at green screen..

Hey Josh, I got lots of Green screen footage this weekend and have just been giving it a go today, this didn't take me very long.

this was just to see if i could get it close to what was in mind and see what you think.




the image i added of the puzzle pieces constructing the head was a little idea i may try animating to see what its like.

anyways Josh, i will update with more green screen clips next week.

some new slides

just experimenting with some different images, will be adding more as i go. the next step will be to maybe storyboard, figure out the timing and think of some interesting transitions between the animations.
so ill give myself some variety to begin with.
